Community Governance (DAO)
Community governance is one of the foundational principles of Invincible Read. The platform operates as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), where $READ token holders are empowered to guide the future of the ecosystem through transparent, democratic processes. Rather than relying on centralized leadership, Invincible Read ensures long-term sustainability and trust by giving real decision-making power to its users.
The DAO governs everything from treasury disbursement and feature upgrades to content curation and token unlocks. Governance is not only about voting—it’s a participatory framework for building a community-led platform.
1. Governance Framework
One Token, One Vote: Each $READ token represents one vote, enabling proportional decision-making
Proposal Creation: Any wallet holding a minimum threshold of $READ can propose a vote
Voting Process: Proposals undergo a review period, a voting period, and final execution through smart contracts
Delegated Voting: Users can delegate their voting rights to trusted curators or specialists
This system ensures that active contributors can help steer the platform’s growth while passive users can still influence direction through delegation.
2. Types of Proposals
Treasury Allocations: Funding for grants, author rewards, development bounties, and partnerships
Protocol Upgrades: Decisions on staking mechanics, platform fees, or token burn strategies
Ecosystem Development: Feature prioritization, app integrations, or community onboarding tools
Curation Governance: Selection of featured books, homepage content, or DAO-themed challenges
Token Economics Adjustments: Timing of unlock events, allocation shifts, or inflation adjustments
3. Treasury Oversight
The DAO controls the Community & Ecosystem Treasury, which receives allocations from platform fees, staking returns, and strategic fundraising. Treasury functions include:
Supporting early authors and educators with publishing grants
Sponsoring reading challenges and hackathons
Providing liquidity for CEX/DEX listings
Funding audits, legal, and security operations
Treasury proposals require a minimum quorum and clear deliverables for approval and disbursement.
4. DAO Tiers & Participation Rewards
To encourage participation, users can climb DAO tiers based on engagement:
Tier 1 (Reader): Vote on featured books and simple community polls
Tier 2 (Curator): Propose new reading programs, vote on treasury grants
Tier 3 (Builder): Initiate governance changes, lead funded initiatives
Tier 4 (Guardian): Delegate reputation score, co-sign treasury disbursement
Participants earn reputation badges and periodic $READ rewards for verified contributions.
5. Voting Interfaces
DAO governance is accessible and secure through:
Web Dashboard: Integrated into the Invincible Read platform
Mobile Access: Compatible with wallet browsers (e.g., MetaMask Mobile, Trust Wallet)
Snapshot-style Governance: Off-chain signaling paired with on-chain execution for gas efficiency
DAO Analytics: Public dashboards for proposal history, voting weight, and pass/fail rates
6. DAO Evolution Roadmap
Governance will be rolled out in phases:
Phase 1: Core team proposals + token holder voting (Q2 2025)
Phase 2: Community proposal submission rights + treasury allocations (Q3 2025)
Phase 3: Full protocol control, DAO committee formation, multisig treasury control (Q4 2025)
Over time, Invincible Read aims to become a truly autonomous, community-operated infrastructure—where the majority of platform upgrades, token flows, and strategic decisions are made by those who use and benefit from the ecosystem daily.
